With A State of Trance 600 quickly approaching, Armin van Buuren has released a preview to an exclusive track that will be on the ASOT 2013 Mix Compilation. He teamed up with last years architects to the ASOT ‘Invasion’ Theme in W&W to create “D# Fat.” The title gives it away, this track is indeed ‘fat’ which W&W is quickly becoming known for. Add some angelic chords, electronic riffs, timely piano breaks, and you’ve got “D# Fat.”
The minute and a half preview of “D# Fat” begins with an Armin-esque synth melody and what seems to be the more trance influenced portion of the track. Then, it hurls you into a signature W&W buildup and drop which is very reminiscent of their hit collaboration with Marcel Woods, “Trigger”.  The synergy of juxtaposing styles offer the listener both the euphoric elements of trance and the blistering bass lines of electro.  The combination will surely result in a future club hit, and I anticipate heavy circulation in the upcoming summer festivals.  “D# Fat” will also be featured on the A State of Trance 2013 Mix compilation, and its official release is set for February 25th, exclusively on Beatport.
