Straight out of Stockholm like any big EDM producer these days, Lucas Nord proves himself to be Sweden’s latest young up and coming artist. His track ‘Embrace Me’ put him on the map when it garnered a remix by Dirty South, which in turn brought attention to his recent release of ‘Embrace Me Part II’. Some may also recognize Lucas Nord by his remix of fellow Swede Adrian Lux’s track ‘Burning’. Nord’s sound has the melodic features of any good Swedish house song–that sweet sound that gives you chills and reminds you of a romantic summer’s day. He skillfully combines uplifting melodies with the best voices Sweden has to offer. His new track ‘Run On Love’ has it all with a brilliant melody, striking vocals and a smooth progressive house synth line. The track opens with bright soft piano chords with the vocals chiming in doing a wonderful job of showcasing Tove Lo’s vocal talent. The song then builds with added synth and percussion work leading into an airy drop accompanied by a progressive electric guitar solo that makes you want to dance with a huge smile on your face. I think Lucas Nord has found his sound that will take the world head on. Check it out!
