Two Days of ‘Pier of Fear’ Have Been Canceled

Poor New York City, you just can’t catch a break these days when it comes to EDM shows. Word out today is that RPM Dance Music Marketing, the promotion company behind the 5-day Halloween event “Pier of Fear” at Pier 94 has canceled two of the days. Laidback Luke’s Super You&Me show has been nothing short of a casualty.

But never fear! The DJ is bringing his show to Pacha NYC on the same date as his original show, Oct. 25. According to Laidback’s Facebook post, you can exchange your Super You&Me ticket for a Pacha ticket and receive a 20% refund (on a first come first served basis) or if you wish you can have your purchase fully refunded.

The explanation for the change is on the main website of the event:

Although we were originally granted permits for five shows, due to recent events, the City of New York has denied permits for two of the days. There will now be three shows taking place October 26, October 31 and November 2.

Details on Steve Aoki’s show on Nov. 1 will be released later.
