Finally, Krewella and Headhunterz fans alike can celebrate. On the heels of the “United Kids of the World
” track release last week, eager fans now have a music video to go along with the popular song. “United Kids of the World” has become an anti-bullying anthem of sorts since Headhunterz first dropped it,he stated on his Facebook page that “United Kids of the World with Krewella was not written to point fingers at anyone but to spread a compassionate message”. Jahan and Yasmine experience the backlash of being females in the music industry first hand, while Headhunterz has mentioned he was bullied at school. Headhunterz and Krewella’s video portrays a clear-cut message throughout its entirety of their view on the issue of bullying. The video begins with Jahan and Yasmine reading offensive tweets aloud the two have received in their lifetime. As the girls are staring at the tweets, cue to Headhunterz inviting the girls via text to meet him at a certain location. The picture then switches between shots depicting different people getting bullied, then Jahan, Yasmine and Headhunterz fronting a group of people rallying as the United Kids of the World! A message from DoSomething.org to help end bullying closes the music video. This particular music video is no doubt worth a watch, as the concept is something so different, check it out and let us know what you think!
