For those of you who have been patiently waiting for Tiesto to release his next studio album, know now that he is planning on releasing his next LP in 2014 and it’s going to be as he says “super epic.” Tiesto is planning on releasing his album on Universal through its Republic Recordings. The Dutch producer said he wanted to to do this to open up the chance to work with a wider range of different artists. Not only that but by working with a major label, his music has a greater opportunity to be heard by a larger audience. In the latest episode of “In the Booth,” he shows us the progress that is coming along with setting up this release.
Tiesto hasn’t released an LP since “Kaleidoscope” which was released about 4 years ago in 2009. That album was significant at the time because it showed Tiesto’s transition away from his signature trance sound. With the amount of evolution that has taken place in both his sound and the electronic music scene as a whole since 2009, who knows what this new album will hold? Always one to push forward with music, this new album will definitely be something to look out for in the next year.
