Remakes of Tiesto’s old school trance classics have been all the rage recently, especially in the realm of big-room house, which some will argue owes a lot of its melodic breakdown style to trance of new and old. The latest Tiesto track to get the remake treatment is his tech trance banger “Traffic”, which saw prominence in his live sets throughout the early 2000s.
Similar to Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano’s 2012 remake of “Lethal Industry”, Twoloud’s remix of “Traffic” will be released on Tiesto’s Musical Freedom label, and while it incorporates synths that may take away from the epic feeling of the original, it still provides bucket loads of energy to bring the iconic hook back to the main room. This is indeed still a worthy addition to the ranks of Musical Freedom and the abundance of remakes surrounding its legendary owners long serving legacy. Purchase it today on Beatport
