Who could think of a better way to wrap up 2013 than to have phase 1 of Ultra 2014 announced? This past year marked the first time that Ultra was spread out between two weekends, but next year’s festival will only be one weekend. The lineup will come out in three phases, leading up to the 16th annual Ultra Music Festival in Miami on March 28, 29 and 30. The production team promises “a new level and a new experience,” and with the huge assortment of live acts this time around, they should have a plethora of variables to play around with. With this stacked and unique phase 1, we could only imagine how legendary the rest of the phase announcements will pan out. Apart from the vast amount of live acts, it is nice to see Ultra secure some of the world’s best DJs outside of the American EDM scene: Marco Carola, Loco Dice,Damian Lazarus, Jamie Jones, Claude Von Stroke, Justin Martin, and Luciano are without a doubt only the tip of the iceberg, and they should fit right in alongside the legendary Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, Eric Prydz, and Hardwell.
