Speculation about where Daft Punk’s comeback performance will take place has run rampant for almost a year now. Ever since their signature helmets started popping up around Miami during Ultra last year, fans have made predictions that Daft Punk will be appearing at the next big festival. However, the rumor mill stopped turning in December when the duo announced that they would be performing at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards in late January. Now, the French pioneers of dance have sparked even more interest by announcing a list of superstar collaborators they will be performing with at the show. Daft Punk will be performing not just alongside collaborators from their Grammy-nominated Random Access Memories, but with music legend Stevie Wonder. Grammy night should prove to be a huge night for the pair as they are nominated for many awards including Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Get Lucky,” and Album of the Year for Random Access Memories. Be sure to tune in January 26th to witness the return of one of dance music’s most important and influential acts.
