Matthew Curtis and Nick Tsang Leave Modestep to Pursue Other Avenues

It’s truly a sad, sad day in the electronic music community. On the same day that STS9 announced that bassist David Murphy would be leaving the group, Modestep announced that they would be parting ways from their guitarist Matthew Curtis and their drummer Nick Tsang. The group, known most notably for their hit songs  ‘Feel Good’ and ‘Sunlight’, will continue on with original members Josh and Tony Friend, and are still in the studio working on a new album. While it is unfortunate that this had to happen, both parties took it in stride and decided to look at the brightside of the situation. Below are the statements from the facebook pages of Modestep and Matthew Curtis.

And, in memory of the beautiful music they brought us, here is the music video for ‘Feel Good’, courtesy of UKF Dubstep.
