Ariana Grande‘s evolved from Broadway actor to Nickelodeon star to a top-notch, dynamic powerhouse vocalist and musician over the years. Her wide array of original songs and covers have also evolved from lighter pop to smooth R&B infused with her own velvety vocal style and wide pitch range. The next stage for Ariana’s music seems to be branching out and adding some variety to her collaborations as evident by a yet-to-be-released collaboration with none other than Zedd. In an interview with Billboard, Ariana describes the collaboration with Zedd as “fantastic and super-experimental for me. I never thought I’d do an EDM song, but that was an eye-opening experience, and now all I want to do is dance.” The track was recorded for her upcoming, currently nameless second album debut which her song “Problem” with Iggy Azalea recently premiered for. Here’s to hoping the collaboration is everything it promises to be and we hear more vocals from Ariana Grande in electronic tracks.
