It was a little over a month ago, that the then viral video titled “What DJs Do These Days” made its rounds around the electronic dance music world. Being a predominant focus of both DJs and fans alike, the video was posted every where, accumulating well over 300,000 views within a short span of time. Shortly after the video began to die down, Art Department decided to lash out at the 3 stars, Laidback Luke, Steve Aoki, and Sander Van Doorn, for what they were doing and why it was negatively effecting the dance music world. As one would expect, the rant attracted negative attention to themselves and immediately thrusted them into spotlight.
Needless to say, after such a rant the tables were going to turn quickly on the outspoken DJ duo. Taken from a gig they did back in 2013 at the Beatport Music Festival, both Jonny White & Kenny Glasgow seem to be guilty of doing the exact same thing as the 3 other DJs. As the end of the newest video suggests, “Can we drop the subject now, and play some f*ckin music?” We say amen to that, but for kicks check out (hopefully for the last time) “What DJs Do These Days Pt.
