Building up hype for his upcoming album, the cake-throwing, champagne bottle-popping, crowd-surfing EDM commodity that is Steve Aoki recently released his new single Rage The Night Away. Well, the LA-based duo took advantage of the chart-topping track, reworking it to give it massive festival stature. Milo and Otis replace the thick, heavy synths that accompanied Waka’s flow in the melody with a tribal-based background drum rack in, building up their rework into a drop that combines heavy-hitting lead synths with a pounding kick. With this remix, the duo adds yet another solid track to their repertoire. With a hit single released last month entitled “Out The Speakers” on a tag team effort with A Trak, and a movie soundtrack debut in the summer blockbuster “22 Jump Street” on their remix to Duck Sauce’s “NRG,” Milo & Otis are proving to be two of the most talented DJs in the game.
