Lana Del Rey is no stranger to being remixed, with superstars like Kaskade and Cedric Gervais making huge reworks out of her already successful hits in the past. Now, Berlin based production duo Andre Crom and Chi Thanh, more commonly known as Crom & Thanh, has put their own spin on a Lana Del Rey track; her sultry and smooth Ultraviolence. Crom & Thanh promise to create magical moments by bringing a sound that combines “Berlin-inspired underground deep & tech house with the vibe and emotions of a festival,” and that’s exactly what they do with this remix. The remix is carried through by the steady bass-line while the hypnotic piano chords slowly drift your mind away. Crom & Thanh successfully maintain the overall sensuous nature of the original track, simply reworking it so that its already sultry atmosphere can transfer over into an intimate club environment. The duo’s remix of “Ultraviolence” was released yesterday on Beatport through Andre Crom’s own OFF Recordings. This one is smooth, it’s sultry and it’s sexy so make sure to get your copy here.
