University String Quartet Surprises Diplo With Classical Cover to ‘Bubble Butt’

In one of the stranger headlines of the day, a String Quartet from University of The Pacific in Stockton, California decided to give Diplo an extra special surprise when he stopped by the school for a performance. While the four students could have picked any one of the producer’s hit songs to perform for him, they may have chose the last one that comes to mind when thinking about classical music: Major Lazer‘s twerk anthem, ‘Bubble Butt’. Although this is a version that would probably not make it into his Jack U mix or one of his many festival sets, Diplo, along with the rest of the crowd, seems to be pretty impressed with the arrangement. He even lets them know that they’re the “best university in the whole United States” after the sweet cello solo towards the end of the video.
