[VIDEO] Catch A Sneak Peak Of The Major Lazer Cartoon Series

The Major Lazer Cartoon is a go, and is set to premier an official sneak peak Sunday, October 29th at midnight on FXX. Major Lazer made their first cartoon debut on Adult Swim back in 2011, and has since been given the opportunity from Fox to jump in the Animation Domination lineup. Inviting fans to “spark one and tune in”, the cartoon will correspond to Major Lazer’s third album release expected to drop in 2015.

Starring the crime-fighting Rasta superhero Major Lazer himself, the show will also feature original music from the Lazer crew as well as collaborations with artists including RiFF RAFF, Cat Power and more. It’s another impressive addition to Diplo’s empire, diversifying his many already existing roles as a producer, DJ, label-owner and now show creator. UPDATE: Tonight’s sneak peak will feature a vampire named Ryland, voiced over by Vampire Weekend frontman, Ezra Koenig.
