The intro to the official #ABGT100 aftermovie gives you chills long before the music even sets in. In just under 12 minutes, Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki of Above & Beyond take fans on the incredible journey that was ABGT100. The landmark celebration was held at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Saturday, October 18th but the planning began long before. Last January, the guys visited the historic venue and began to envision the final product. Nine months later, Madison Square Garden welcomed thousands of A&B fans in for a sold-out, yet intimate, show. ABGT100 was the first simultaneous live video and audio broadcast for the guys, with six hours of music from A&B, Ilan Bluestone, Andrew Bayer and Mat Zo streamed in real time to the world.
The aftermovie showcases the hours leading up to the event, including lighting run-throughs, media interviews, the “We’re All We Need” video debut in Times Square and a new song featuring Zoë Johnston called “Fly to New York” around the 8:30 mark.
