Impromptu Jack Ü Set Causes Severe Traffic, Shut Down By Cops

Jack Ü

Fans of Jack Ü celebrated King’s Day, a national holiday held in Netherlands every 27th of April (or 26th if the 27th falls on a Sunday), by crowding around the group’s dressing room window when they were holding an impromptu DJ set. Diplo uploaded the video of the crowd dancing to Major Lazer’s ‘Lean On.’ That was before the police came to shut them down for interfering with traffic. Diplo captioned “We set up turntables outside our dressing room after kings day fest and played music out the window .. Cops turned it down cause we stopped traffic.”

This is not the first time the police got involved during a Jack Ü session. Earlier this year, they held a 24-hour DJ set to preview their project’s first album, and eventually release it, in Downtown LA. 18 hours in, the police shut down the set assumingly citing a noise violation.
