Hotel Garuda brings the future house excitement back with a classed-up remix of ‘Raindrops’, by SNBRN. Recently playing at one of New York’s premier nightclubs, Webster Hall, the duo have their sights set high this year. Being influenced by artists like Cashmere Cat and Thomas Jack, Hotel Garuda has found a way to create a unique sound found nowhere else and while named one of Ultra’s top artists to follow in 2014, you can be sure they will be making waves in 2015 as they play at even larger venues.
This one begins softly with some nicely reverberated vocal chops and a lush set of filtered chords leading to the breakdown. Full of realistic percussion and dreamy vocals from SNBRN, a filtered future house bass pluck then takes shape while a looped vocal rises to the bass line. With a nice future groove and fantastically done vocal bits and fills, Hotel Garuda knows when to keep it groovy and when to bring the energy.
