Hangout Music Festival is an annual three-day festival that takes place at the public beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. The festival is scheduled to take place this upcoming weekend, May 15th thru 17th, and includes a lineup which features Skrillex, Adventure Club, ODESZA, Griz, Major Laser, Krewella and many, many more. However, there has been a last minute alteration to the lineup, only three days until the festivals kickoff this Friday. Six-time Grammy Award winner, Sam Smith, was originally scheduled to headline Hangout Music Festival on Friday, had no choice but to forfeit his spot as a result of his untimely vocal chord surgery. Skrillex and Diplo fans were already in luck as both Skrillex, and Diplo’s, Major Laser, were originally encompassed into Hangout’s 2015 lineup. Now, the duo’s side project, Jack Ü, will headline Hangout’s Boom Boom Tent on Friday night.
