Pogo – Forget
With a unique sound and style, dance music artist Pogo is known for sampling a conglomeration of sounds, quotes and melodies from a film or a specific scene to create a new and original piece of music. In the past, Pogo, whose real name is Nick Bertke, has impressively chopped up and sequenced Disney classics like Alice In Wonderland, Snow White and Up into fun electronic beats.
Continuing this theme, Pogo recently released another one of his original creations called “Forget” to the tune of Disney film samples. Using classic movies like Pinocchio, The Jungle Book and Mulan among others, the Aussie seamlessly mixes various samples into a hypnotic and entrancing tune. Accompanied by a video with Disney clips, those who grew up watching these classics are left with a nostalgic taste and a trip down memory lane.
