Curbi – Rubber
Every once in a while, a true young-gun producer comes out of the woodwork and knocks the socks off of the scene. And after signing onto the team at Spinnin’ Records earlier this year, it would appear that Curbi is such a phenom. Hailing from the UK, this 16 year old originally got his start when Oliver Heldens picked up his track ‘Discharge’. Now back with his latest release titled ‘Rubber’, his new home at Spinnin’ is solidified.
Taking his signature sound of house music, Curbi brings a high energy groove that is as infectious as it is anthemic. The track kicks off with a wash of synths that starts the momentum right from the break. From there, the energy is released to introduce the tracks main groove that is impossible not to move to. The second break introduces a high-energy synth line that bridges the gap between the two main groove sections to create a fluid and seamless production.
