The Chemical Brothers – Go (Claude VonStroke Remix)
A week ago, The Chemical Brothers‘ eighth album ‘Born in the Echoes‘ was released. The album received widespread praise and signified the triumphant return of the British electronic duo, who hadn’t released an album since 2010. The first single off the album was ‘Go,’ which was released back in May. The legendary Dirtybird boss Claude VonStroke has now set out to remix it, injecting it with his own distinctive style. It was only 2 months back that Claude delivered another high profile remix, masterfully tackling Rihanna’s, ‘Bitch Better Have My Money.’
Claude’s version of ‘Go’ immediately begins with his iconic growling bass and a sexy beat. He goes on to seamlessly integrate the entrancing voice of Q-Tip, whose club-ready vocals are the perfect soundtrack to a long night out. As always, Claude’s powerful, heavy bass makes this track an irresistibly danceable banger. While ‘Go’ received two remixes from Special Request as well as one by The Chemical Brothers themselves, it is safe to say that Claude has distanced himself from the pack. You can purchase Claude’s remix here, along with the other three off the ‘Go’ remix EP.
