While there may be some people south of the border that are afraid to admit it, Toronto has quietly become one of North America’s biggest hotspots for dance music. It has hosted major festivals such as Digital Dreams and Veld, but the less-publicized events reinforce the fact that the city should not be messed with. One particular soirée that comes to mind is the upcoming SummerDaze/Desert Hearts show, which has officially achieved can’t-miss status.
This Saturday, SummerDaze is closing its 2015 season with a bang and is bringing the legendary Desert Hearts crew along for the ride. The collective has been touring the continent as part of its Summer of Love: City Hearts Tour and this is the last stop before a highly anticipated appearance at Burning Man. SummerDaze’s ‘Season of Trust’ has been a hit so far and with 15 hours techno and house lined up, we don’t think this marvellous finale will be any different.
