DJs are infamous for reusing introductions to their set, so when they change it, it is quite refreshing. After some time off after ADE, the recently acclaimed #3 DJ in the world, (according to DJMag Top 100), Martin Garrix played Haunted Fest in Columbus, Ohio. Garrix was the headliner of a pretty stacked lineup featuring Cash Cash, NGHTMRE, Pierce Fulton, and Snails (alphabetical order). This is the location where we heard Garrix’s special piano driven “Animals” intro edit for the second time. The first time Martin played this special edit for his fans was during ADE at Heineken Music Hall. Garrix retains the original melody of “Animals” and slowly builds it up into the drop of his latest single “Poison”. The videos of this beautiful piano edit are below, enjoy!
