For over 10 years, Avalon Hollywood has been the epicenter of music in Los Angeles. Whether it be The Beatles’ first West Coast performance to Sasha’s first West Coast DJ residency, it has always stood at the forefront of “what’s next”. Avalon has played home to numerous legendary acts such as Paul Oakenfold, Tiesto, Deep Dish, and Erick Morillo. Many of these larger than life artists call Avalon a second home, returning for multiple shows in just one year. Younger talents like Skrillex, Porter Robinson, Dada Life, Bingo Players, Hardwell and Krewella make up a collection of artists who may trace their breakout performances back to Avalon.
The city’s hot spot has become renowned for celebrating the new year in style and this time around, it’s no different. Morgan Page and Gabriel & Dresden are set to usher in the new year with dual marathon sets lasting until the break of dawn. Noisecontrollers takes over CONTROL on Friday and last but certainly not least, Nero returns for a highly anticipated DJ Set this Saturday.
Morgan Page and Gabriel & Dresden are both respected, veteran acts who frequent LA’s musical institution year-after-year. Noisecontrollers is the penultimate hardstyle presence today and also calls Avalon one of his favorite stages here in the United States. Nero needs no introduction after a seminal 2015, releasing the critically and commercially acclaimed Between II Worlds – thereby bringing Avalon’s entire New Year’s collective full circle.
