RÜFÜS – Like An Animal (Yotto Remix)

Yotto couldn’t be on more of a hot streak right now. Recently coming off the immensely successful Anjunadeep 2015 North American tour, having his latest original “Personal Space” dubbed as Pete Tong’s ‘Essential New Tune’ back in December, shared his winter mix as a new years treat and has been nominated for one of his productions as ‘Essential New Tune’ once again; this time it’s for his remix of RÜFÜS’ “Like An Animal.”

Starting out of the gate, dreamy vibes fill the speakers accompanied by a shuffling drum kit before the tune gets busy. Using his well known bassline patterns, he creates monster swells that coincide with RÜFÜS’ surreal vocal tones. While this track has already been remixed by the likes of Issac Taucher, LCAW and Dom Dolla, Yotto’s fresh rendition in this writer’s humble opinion takes the cake.
