As the calendar slowly flips through the winter months towards spring, eager ravers are counting down the days until the start of festival season. The beginning of March—more often associated with college spring break—is a gold mine for festivals, and Buku Music & Art Project in New Orleans, Louisiana continues to set the bar high in its fifth year.
The Buku team dropped the full lineup a couple weeks ago with the special announcement that Pretty Lights will be joined by a live band, and now those who plan on attending can start organizing their schedules with the release of the daily lineup. On Friday you can catch the enchanting trio Above & Beyond, Griz, Deorro, Baauer, Tchami, and Jai Wolf among many more. In addition to the wealth of dance music Friday has to offer, you can catch some of the best rappers in the game with performances by Fetty Wap and Rae Sremmurd, and don’t forget the legendary Kid Cudi at the top of the bill. On Saturday, Pretty Lights with a live band will definitely be something special, while Miike Snow, Nero, Purity Ring, Feed Me, What So Not, Sam Feldt, NGHTMRE and SNBRN seemingly cover every major dance music genre out there.
Since we are an electronic music website, we have highlighted the best that Buku has to offer across the electronic spectrum, but by no means is this an EDM only festival. Whatever your taste in music, Buku Music & Art Project 2016 will have something for you. You can check out the full daily lineup below, and head on over to the Buku website for more information!
