This current presidential race has had some pretty strong ties to electronic music. The most notable one had to be Marco Rubio and his intense love for the genre. He would talk about his favorite DJs during interviews, but did admit that he’s never been to a rave. It’s also worth noting that candidates such as Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton have asked permission to used dance music tracks during their campaign rallies. The election is proving that electronic music has penetrated mainstream culture and this latest example is further evidence.

Bernie Sanders has already received support from a variety of dance artists such as Porter Robinson, Steve Aoki and more. Now, he’s partnered with another one of his biggest DJ supporters, Diplo, for this moving new ad campaign. The video shows powerful images of Sanders along with his millions of supporters and it’s all set to Diplo’s hit song “Revolution”. The track is a perfect complement to the video’s message, which is stated in the description:

“Day in and day out, from sun up to sun down, volunteers and supporters all across this country have powered this political revolution. For that, we thank you.”
