Following the announcements that both TomorrowWorld and Counterpoint would not be held in 2016, Atlanta dance music fans set their sights on another festival that had a huge second year in 2015. In February, Imagine Music Festival announced several additions for the 2016 festival including increasing the festival to three days, adding a camping option, and a new location that is yet to be announced. Today, Imagine released its phase one lineup that is equally as exciting as the changes for the upcoming edition.
The headlining group includes a diverse group of acts: Benny Benassi, Borgore, Dillon Francis, Excision, Gramatik, Nero, Showtek, and Zeds Dead. The rest of the lineup is noticeably bass heavy, as it was in both years one and two. However, it appears that Imagine went out of their way this year to include acts from other genres to attract a more varied audience such as 3LAU, Borgeous, Cazzette, Cosmic Gate, Dirty South, and EDX. Stay tuned in the next couple of days for the announcement regarding the new location, and head to the link above if this lineup has convinced you to grab your tickets for three days of music and camping fun in Atlanta!
