Beatport has released the results for its “Best of Beatport 2016” contest and the winners are some of the biggest names in the industry. It is broken up into a few different sub genres and it is nice to see something different than the big room-dominated DJ Mag Top 100 poll.
At the top of the charts are mix of artists, with some of them being household names and others coming from the underground. Beatport has also presented us with the best-selling tracks and best-selling record labels. At the top of the different categories are artists like Eric Prydz, Armin Van Buuren, Adam Beyer, Hot Since 82, Noisia, Hardwell, Solomun, Don Diablo, Clink and many more.
