Coachella just can’t seem to stay out of the headlines this year. However, it hasn’t necessarily been the best publicity, with Beyonce announcing her pregnancy making her unable to headline, a controversial political issue and user account information being leaked. Well, it seems like Coachella is finally catching a break. Replacing Beyonce with one of the few acceptable stand out female pop artists out there.
Lady Gaga will now headline both Saturdays at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio, CA. After an incredible Super Bowl performance, the ticket holders that were upset about Beyonce’s withdrawal from the bill are thrilled at this addition. She plans to bring her regular tour level of stage production to the desert as well which will be huge for the weekends festivities. With many rumors circulating about who was going to replace Beyonce, it was important to Goldenvoice that the new act would not only bring the same amount of talent, but the same feeling of feminine power. Gaga will be the first female artist as a main headliner in the past decade.
