Coachella Introduces New Immersive Stage Experience

Coachella’s Newest Addition: The Antarctic Stage

For the first time in years, Coachella will be bringing a new stage to the Polo Fields. While this stage may not be built for a headliner performance, it promises an experience unlike any other. ‘The Antarctic’, created by Obscura Digital is a 360 degree audio-visual sensory dome that promises to dazzle and amaze you. Powered by HP, it “takes you on a mind-blowing metamorphic journey through time, space and consciousness.” Imagine a planetarium show of epic psychedelic and astral projections, set to the sounds of Coachella.

With only a week to go before the gates open, the dome has been built and the teams at Obscura are testing out all of the incredible visuals they plan on experimenting with. This will be an immersive experience you unlike any other and you won’t want to miss it. Plus with a name like ‘The Antarctic’, it will be a nice place to escape the heat.
