Our favorite Parisian recently announced new music to come via Twitter a couple of days ago. Along with his fans celebrating the news, DJ Snake has much to celebrate himself.
DJ Snake’s music videos and tracks recently achieved a combined total of 4 billion views on YouTube, 3 billion streams on Spotify and an overall sale of 28 million units. He posted a video to Facebook with the numbers with a simple caption – “Thanks for supporting my Vision. This is just the beginning.”
It’s safe to say DJ Snake is an icon in the electronic music community that always produces gold. With long lasting tracks such as “Lean On” and, of course, “Turn Down For What,” the anticipation for some new DJ Snake tunes is alive and well. The artist announced today that this is on its way, so it looks like we won’t have to wait much longer.
This summer, DJ Snake is also expected to host his “PARDON MY FRENCH” Ushuaia tour in Ibiza. Alongside DJ Snake will be his Parisian friends by the names of Tchami, Mercer, and Malaa. You can find tour dates and up to date news on his website here.
