Anyone who just finished binge watching the fifth season of ‘Orange is the New Black’ and are aching for more Litchfield spirit need look no further than this weekend’s Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas. One of the key talents from the hit Netflix series happens to spend her nights DJing. Taryn Manning, better known as Tiffany “Pennsatucky” Doggett, attended the Scratch DJ Academy ten years ago, and will hit the decks from 3:00 to 4:00 A.M. on Sunday night / Monday morning.
Manning, in a Las Vegas Weekly interview, recently tackled questions relating to her love of music and upcoming EDC gig. For those who aren’t familiar with her musical side, it would be fair to wonder, exactly what kind of music will she be playing on the Kalliope Art Car? According to Manning, you can expect “a lot of stuff that’s [her’s] and a lot of stuff from all the DJs [she] respects the sh*t out of, and all the bangers… future bass, trap, dubstep, a lot of house and deep house, just everything that’s cool and works together… not genre-specific”
