Hailing from Sweden, Eric Sheridan Prydz is arguably the best thing that has happened to the progressive sound in recent years. Prydz has created some mind-bending progressive and techno tunes under various aliases such as Pryda and Cirez-D, though he is perhaps best known for his hypnotising tracks like ‘Generate’ and UK chart-buster ‘Call on me’. He also embraces the underground music scene as Pryda, Pryda Friends and Mouseville are his three massive labels that he has blessed upon the underground dance music industry. Weirdly enough, he also has a fear of flying – which means that he mainly tours on a bus wherever possible.
Prydz, like many other top names this summer, has taken up residency at Ibiza’s leading vogue club Hi Ibiza. He will perform every Tuesday in Theatre #1. Following his slam bang, pyro-fuelled performance last week on the island, the artist debuted some banging tracks on his radio show Epic Radio 013. As promised earlier, he played quite a few jaw-dropping tunes during the radio show that hit our sweet spot with absolute ease and sheer accuracy.

I last attended his show at VH1 Supersonic 2016 in India, where he dropped the bomb of a track that is ‘Glow’. The sound and visuals rendered me with a feeling of falling into a wormhole and transcending into another musical dimension. It was a truly magical musical odyssey. Needless to say, I have no doubt his music has this effect on many fans.
Without further ado, we present to you the mighty resident at Hi Ibiza.
