Zedd and Alessia Cara are here to stay. Their latest single ‘Stay’ just hit its 6th consecutive week at the top spot on the Pop Songs chart, receiving 18,195 spins, according to kworb.net.
The pop banger first topped the chart during the week of May 27 and has reigned at the number one spot since. This week, it holds ahead of Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee, and Justin Bieber‘s ‘Despacito,’Â which received 17,442 spins.
Zedd keeps delivering hit after hit, with his 2016 single ‘Starving’ with Grey and Hailee Steinfeld- which just received a double platinum RIAA certification, and a certified 2 million units sold.
He may also soon have another hit on his hands. His next single, ‘Get Low‘ featuring Liam Payne of One Direction, will be released on July 6th. Time will tell if it will have the same chart impact as ‘Stay.’
