I think it’s universally agreed that Carnage doesn’t hesitate to speak his mind. There have been plenty of incidents involving the producer letting people know how he feels regardless of the backlash he receives. Some examples of this include his feud with Deadmau5 and more recently his decision to back out of Ultra 2018. This recent incident with Ultra stemmed from the fact that was going to be placed as a supporting act for the festival.
It’s time I demand some god damn respect on my name…. producer of the year… wait till I drop this album… #CARNAGESEASON
First single January 12th. ??

Now he’s back with a statement that seems to stem from his reasoning for dropping out of Ultra. Carnage wants to be treated like he’s the best producer to grace the industry, regardless of whether or not he has necessarily earned it yet. I just looked at it as him garnering attention for the upcoming single but it seemed to receive the wrong kind of attention as other producers decided to chime in with their opinions.
Dude, really? Is this a ’you’ thing or a generational thing? You GAIN respect with actions, ethics, work put it, not demand it. Geez. https://t.co/Ot003j00qA

He knows he’s not going to get actual respect so he writes things like this to incense people to RT his tweet. Kinda brilliant actually ?
