Firefly Music Festival Partners with Dogfish Head to make new Firefly Ale

When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. Or in this case, make an official craft beer for all to enjoy! Firefly Music Festival and Dogfish Head have been partners since 2012; this year they announced a brand new Firefly Ale. Full of tropical fruit notes with a subtle sweetness, the mashup is the official craft beer of the festival. Debuting at their next festival, the new version of the beverage features ingredients chosen by fans.

During the week of March 12, the two corporations looked to past attendees to curate a fan-favorite twist to the 2018 remix. Choosing a pale ale as the base, it was up to grapefruit, yuzu or guava as the new ingredient. And the winner is?

The freshly twisted Ale has been brewed with guava puree and coconut flower nectar. Tart and citrusy, this new summer sipper is perfect for days and nights in the Woodlands. The brew will be available on draft at the Dogfish Head onsite in June.

On June 14 – 17, 2018, Firefly returns for its seventh year. Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Arctic Monkeys, and The Killers will be there. ODESZA, Lil Wayne, Logic, Martin Garrix, MGMT, and many more are also set to appear. Festival passes and lodging are on sale through

This duo partnership continues to be a staple festival attraction. The brewery will feature a ‘SeaQuench Ale Shade Station for folks to chill at between shows. Enjoy a cold beverage or explore the Dogfish merch shop. Indulge among the many other fan-favorite beers on-tap including 60 Minute IPA, 90 Minute IPA, SeaQuench Ale, Flesh & Blood IPA, Namaste White, along with specialty taps like Liquid Truth Serum and many more!

Cheers to a premier music experience set among luscious woodland landscapes, featuring renowned headliners and emerging artists. Witness unforgettable performances and engage in attractions that make Firefly a can’t-miss summer tradition for music fans around the world.
