Australia’s own electro-hero Golden Features announced his debut album today with first single “Falling Out“.
In the past five years, the enigmatic producer quickly ascended to the top of electronic music’s Mount Olympus with a series of then-groundbreaking singles including “Tell Me ft. Nicole Millar”, “Telescope ft. K.Flay”, and an official remix of Porter Robinson’s “Years Of War”.
After quite a bit of apparent downtime, Golden Features AKA Tom Stell is back with a glistening new original, “Tell Me”, which seems to feature, his own vocals? Despite the trend of producers recklessly introducing their own DIY vocals, this sounds as pro as it gets; but we’ll let you be the judge.
Falling Out is a gold-tinged electro odyssey; a ballad that not only die-hard fans, but also first time listeners, can enjoy. Clearly, Golden Features is gearing up for the return of a lifetime with his debut record on the way and this pretty single for us to sit with ’till then.
Stream “Falling Out” below via Warner Music Australia and Big Beat, and keep up with Golden Features on Soundcloud, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
