My oh my how time flies. It seemed like only yesterday I was driving around my college campus blasting Daft Punk’s ‘Get Lucky’. That was April of 2013…
Fast forward five years and this iconic song has hit its milestone 5th birthday. The French robotic legends blew the music world away yet again with their hugely popular hit ‘Get Lucky’. Working with pop icon Pharrell and music legend Nile Rogers, Daft Punk had some serious star power working on such a classic tune.
‘Get Lucky’ was of course one of the many songs on Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories album. That album will also turn 5 years old on May 17th. Nostalgia is a bittersweet thing. Throughout this year, there will be many more milestone birthdays to come.
