According to a 2018 Proxy Statement shared with Digital Music News, Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino made a total of $70,615,760 last year. Which is a massive increase over 2016’s $10,438,241, on a base salary of $2.3 million. Rapino’s 2015 salary was $9,960,379.
In 2017 his base salary was $2,416,667, with an extra $1 million bonus. Most of his compensation was from stock, a total of $58,631,538 to be exact. They added another $6,766,667 for ‘Non-Equity Incentive Plan Compensation,’ and ended with $80,211 from ‘Other’, all together totaling $70,615,760.
The second top earner from Live Nation include, President Joe Berchtold. He made a total of $28,794,489. $1,100,000 was Salary alone. Again, most of his compensation was from stock, $25,686,219. Also, he had $822,930 option awards. Finally, he received $1,100,000 from non-equity incentive plan compensation and $85,340 from other.
