Dorfex Bos – Opinions EP
Perhaps one of the most unique releases this week goes to Dorfex Bos and his four-track EP, Opinions. Each track is a diverse sonic journey full of ever-evolving synths and basses. Starting the EP off proper is ‘Opinions,’ a track that includes a heavy Bassnectar influence. ‘Teen $pirit’ is the second track and focuses on momentum and arpeggios. ‘Cyalafalora’ is the third track with a more mysterious vibe going on and finally, ‘Ralph’s Dance’ finishes off the EP with a dark and anthemic sound.
Dorfex Bos is a vibe producer with extensive production experience in dubstep, downtempo, and electronica. In the early 2000’s, Tursi emerged from the West Coast bass scene through the previously stated genres. He’s worked with Dubstep icon Bassnectar on tracks like the self-titled ‘Dorfex Bos,’ ‘Horizons,’ ‘Other Worlds,’ and ‘Hold On.’ Tursi’s impressive sound is on the horizon, and he takes the listener to another world through each production.
“This EP is a very special to me. Each track encompasses a specific and unique combination of mood and groove. It feels like a cocoon- deep, welcoming, and charged with just the right kind of rhythmic energy to keep it moving forward into the unknown. It’s music made for dimly lit dance floors or late night car rides down empty highways.”
