Pryda Pulls Out the Stops at the Cosmopolitan Pool Party
Eric Prydz is absolutely on fire. He decided to cool off a little at Marquee Dayclub’s Pool Party this weekend in Las Vegas. The in-demand Swedish DJ took his talents to the Cosmopolitan rooftops to provide some epic vibes ahead of his sets at EDC Las Vegas. Prydz performed both as himself and his alias Cirez D at the Las Vegas Speedway.
Prydz shines with his powerful basslines and “ID” tracks unknown to the listener. His first full studio album “Opus” hit number one on the Billboard charts for “Top Dance/Electronic Album.” His roots are tied to smaller club shows and the underground scene. However, in recent years he has played massive festival sets at EDC, ASOT, Creamfields, Tomorrowland, and many more. He has also created his EPIC shows, where he features his cutting-edge lasers and holograms. In a 2014 interview with Billboard, he calls the shows his “passion project,” stating that he “actually loses money every time he holds one of them.”
His recent single “Stay With Me” has highlighted A State of Trance, and his most recent ID track graced ABGT. He will return with his HI Ibiza residency this Summer every Tuesday night on the magical island. If you are able to catch one of his revolutionary HOLO shows, it might change your life. The backwards hat-wearing Swede is showing no signs of slowing down.
