Electric Daisy Carnival is without a doubt the most infamous electronic music festival in the United States. EDC consistently brings the biggest acts, the most intricate stage designs and a vibe that can’t be beat. After moving from LA to Vegas, Insomiac‘s flagship festival has spun off multiple other EDC events around the world. And they are always looking to improve. In addition to announcing festival dates, Insomniac is also announcing several changes to EDC Vegas this year.
EDC Vegas 2019 will take place at the Vegas Motor Speedway May 17th-19th. General ticket sales begin September 28th at Noon P.S.T.

Camp EDC will return in 2019, offering an on site camping experience for attendees. But perhaps even more exciting is Insomniac founder Pasquale Rotella‘s announcement in the official press release.

Next year we’ll be bringing lots of exciting improvements to Camp EDC, redesigning some of our most popular stages, creating an all-new Downtown EDC, and adding a new ticket tier that we hope will give attendees a new way to experience the festival.

These changes are exciting for any EDC attendee. The superstructures that Insomniac constructs for its stages have been iconic for years with a huge makeover coming! Rotella also revealed the “addition of a new GA+ ticket tier which includes expedited festival entrance and access to exclusive air-conditioned restrooms.”

The Downtown EDC experience is also a huge deal. Now attendees staying on or near the strip will have a chance to keep the party going. This will be similar to those staying at Camp EDC.

Tickets will start at $319 for regular GA and $499 for GA+. You can expect there to be payment plans along with different VIP options when sales finally start. There will also be a “surprise” week long loyalty sale before the official ticket sales begin. So if you’ve been to EDC before you get first dibs on cheap tickets. Start putting in your overtime now to reserve your spot at what is sure to be one of the hottest events of 2019.
