Fans are excitingly awaiting the release of Rihanna’s new album. With it being her ninth album release some have fittingly named it “R9.” The Daily Star recently did an interview with Alesso, who divulged who she has been working with this past year. He confirmed she will have collaborations with Calvin Harris, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, and Diplo.
Rihanna is no stranger to producing dance music. She has previously worked with Calvin Harris to produce mega hits like “We Found Love” and “This is What You Came For.”
“I’ve heard she wants to take over the dance music charts, we have some mutual friends, so we’ll see what happens with that.”
Alesso also went on further to discuss his “cut-off” point for touring. He doesn’t believe he will be touring up to his 40s. Here is what he said about potentially working with Rihanna in the future:
“It’s too early to say about a feature. We’ll see, but I would just make the most of the studio session and never ever leave.”
We hope what Alesso said is true and all these collaborations happen. It would be an amazing album combining Rihanna’s vocals with sounds provided by the worlds biggest DJs. And we can only begin to imagine if some of these tracks were performed live.
