Swedish House Mafia‘s 2019 comeback is impending. Rumours of a reunion started the moment they took the stage at Ultra Music Festival in March, and now with mysterious ads, possible big brand partnerships looming, and festivals already lining up to host a potential Swedish House Mafia performance, it looks like Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello are aiming to pick back up right where they left off. The only thing missing was confirmation of impending studio work, however, Angello quickly put us at ease.
The producer recently told Swedish news publication Dagens Nyheter,
“Yes, absolutely, Swedish House Mafia is back. Now during summer everyone is traveling a lot, but we’ve entered the studio. I can’t really say much more, but we’ve decided that: ‘Here we go.’”
Here we go, indeed. This morning, Steve Angello posted an Instagram story that appears to be a video of the trio in the studio, previewing quite an incredible sounding song.

It’s been six years since the trio released the album ‘Until Now‘, and if this is anything like what the album will sound like, we can’t wait. No release day is in sight, but as the first hint of things to come, it’s more than tantalizing.
