The world is full of winning combinations like peanut butter and jelly, spaghetti and meatballs, you know how it goes. But one combination that has just come up that we’re not so sure about: raves and…McDonald’s? Yes, you’re reading that right. Manila Killa is the headlining act for Rise N’ Rave, an early morning mix of breakfast and EDM.
The whole event is a promotion for McDonald’s new triple breakfast stacks. In fact, if you purchase one of these monstrous sandwiches and show your receipt at the door of the event, you receive VIP access. This may be the easiest VIP access anyone has ever gotten.
The rave is free to enter. But there is one huge caveat: it takes place at 6 AM. Not only are you eating heavy, greasy McDonald’s breakfast sandwiches before dancing – you’re asked to do it at a time when most ravers are heading to bed.
If you’re in LA and you’re already out and about, maybe it’s worth checking out. But it doesn’t seem too likely that many people are going to wake up in order to attend. Who knows, though – maybe there are some early morning party people who want to get their rave on before going to work. Who are we to judge?
