Mark your calendars, ravers. On January 17, 2019, to February 2, 2019, Montreal’s Igloofest will be making its triumphant return! If you haven’t made the trip to check out one of Canada’s most popular nightlife cities, January is the perfect time to start.

While most people around the world choose to hibernate throughout the cold winter months, Montrealers have chosen to embrace what can’t be changed. Trust us when we say that it’ll be worth the few hours outside in the chilly weather. If you don’t want to take our word for it, check out all of the amazing things that the event has to offer below (seriously, it’s incredible…).

Kicking off the 13th edition of the festival is France’s Polo & Pan with a DJ set. The Sapporo stage will be graced with the duo’s remarkable house music mixes on January 17. Attendees will also have the opportunity to witness a set from Norwegian DJ SkatebÃ¥rd.

Here’s where things really start to warm up. On January 18, Diplo will be headlining the fest, alongside Nina Las Vegas and Eagles & Butterflies. If a rare Canadian appearance by the legendary American producer doesn’t heat things up, we don’t know what will!

Ending the first weekend’s series of festivities is English musician Four Tet. Additional performances by Jacques Greene and Volvox are guaranteed to keep you grooving.

The second weekend promises to be one for the books with captivating performances by headlining acts Chris Lake (January 24) alongside AC Slater and YOOKiE, Above & Beyond (January 25), Spencer Brown and Waze & Odyssey, and finally, Chris Liebing. There will also be special sets by Mind Against and Skee Mask on January 26. Talk about quite the weekend celebration!

By the final weekend, we have no doubt you’ll be toasty! Bass lovers will unite on January 31 for the ultimate dream lineup – the incredibly talented RL Grime is headlining, along with Baauer and Iglooghost. You’ll be Harlem Shaking your body to stay warm! Jumping into February, attendees will witness performances from Gramatik, Kartell, and Danger, Le Matos on February 1, 2019.

Igloofest wouldn’t live up to their high standards if they didn’t finish their series of nine events with a bang. The impeccably skilled Maceo Plex will be making a stop on February 2 during his tour, with the dynamic Ostrich and Baba Stiltz playing the same day. Grab your dancing shoes, because this techno-infused event is guaranteed to have you dancing all night long.

Simply hearing about the undeniably impressive lineup has us off the wall! We are counting down the days until we get to experience the magic the organizers have concocted for us. Have you purchased your tickets yet? They’re flying…grab them below, before it’s too late!

They say that the number 13 is an unlucky one. But with an outstanding lineup, a one-of-a-kind atmosphere, a number of fun activities and more, there’s no doubt in our minds that this edition will be the biggest and best one yet.
