Trance worlds are colliding in Utrecht this weekend. After making a huge stir in March joining the ASOT Miami lineup by surprise, Above & Beyond decided to join in on the A State of Trance 900 festivities as well. While the ASOT Miami set was excellent, we figured A&B would plan something special for a headlining set in Utrecht right before Armin van Buuren. Even with high expectations, none of us expected a collaboration between the two titans.
Yes, you heard right. Armin van Buuren and Above & Beyond unveiled a brand new collaboration during A&B’s set at ASOT900. While Above & Beyond were up on stage, they called Armin up to join them and they told the crowd about their new track called “Show Me Love“. The track beautifully combines the slow melodic piano elements of A&B with the harder synths of Armin, but we’re not sure who did the vocal.
Jono mentioned that the group had traded ideas back in the early 2000s and recently they thought to themselves, “Why haven’t we been working with this guy?!”. We hope this is only the start of a great collaborative relationship between the biggest names in trance. Check it out below!
