Anna Lunoe Brings Back The Acid With 303
Anyone who says acid house isn’t making a comeback in the club scene is living with their eyes closed. Old school heads and new bloods alike are reveling in the return of psychedelia, especially in house music. And the house queen from down under is no exception. Anna Lunoe‘s new track ‘303‘ is a hearty tribute to the acid vibes generated from the titular TB-303 synthesizer.
Self-described as a “super bouncy acid house banga,” ‘303’ certainly does not disappoint. Although the track starts out with a basic house pattern, it’s not long before Anna brings the weird to bear. The first and second drops, while completely unique, are both soaked in the acid sound that kids who stay up all night dancing absolutely adore. If that isn’t enough to convince you, she even said “I don’t think I’ve ever loved playing one of my songs more”.
